Abstract:
To provide a film forming method capable of forming a film having high adhesibility and water resistance with respect to a urethane sealant.SOLUTION: The method forms a film by applying and drying an aqueous coating composition on the surface of a urethane sealant having isocyanate remaining. The aqueous coating composition includes an aqueous medium, an acrylic resin not having a hydroxy group dispersed in the aqueous medium, and a hydroxy group containing resin dissolved or dispersed in the aqueous medium. A hydroxyl value in the acrylic resin and the hydroxy group containing resin as a whole is 13-65 mgKOH/g, and a mass ratio represented by the acrylic resin/the hydroxy group containing resin is 20/80-80/20.SELECTED DRAWING: None
