PURPOSE: To provide a coating film peeling-off device for coated metallic band with high workability, safety and efficiency, and a welding method for the coated metallic band with high welding ability therewith.
CONSTITUTION: This coating film peeling-off device 10, mounted above and below a coated metallic band 11, is provided with a peeling-off means for peeling off its coating film, a clamping means 13 for clamping the coated metallic band 11 in a cantilever condition, and a discharging means for discharging powder and granular material generated at the time of peeling off the coating film. The peeling-off means is provided with a jet nozzle 14 for peeling off coating film by blasting abrasive grains, a moving means 15 for moving the jet nozzle 14 in the plate width direction of the coated metallic band 11, and a force feed means for force-feeding solid resin beads to the jet nozzle 14. The clamping means 13 is provided with an upper clamping member 28 and a lower clamping member 29 mounted above and below the coated metallic band 11, an upper cover 30 connected to the upper clamping member 28, a lower cover 31 connected to the lower clamping member 29, and an air cylinder 32 mounted onto the top surface of an upper cover.
