PURPOSE: To provide a compsn. which temporarily protects the coating film of automobile by coating the compsn. on said coating film, containing a wax, an emulsifier for the wax, a polymer derived from (meth)acrylic acid or an ester thereof and a white fine powder in the state of a suspension or an emulsion.
CONSTITUTION: There is provided a coating film-protective compsn. consisting mainly of a water-dispersed wax and containing (A) 5W30wt% of a wax, (B) 0.3W6wt% of an emulsifier in a weight ratio of (B) component to (A) component of not more than 20/100, (C) 0.5W10wt% of a polymer derived from (meth)acrylic acid monomer or an ester thereof in a weight ratio of (C) component to (A) component of not more than 50/100, and (D) 5W22wt% of a white fine powder in an amount of (D) component to (A) component of not more than 75/100 in the state of an ag. suspension or an ag. emulsion.
EFFECT: The compsn. can form a dried firm film on the coating film of automobile in a short time by coating the compsn. on the coating film of the automobile by a simple method. The dried film can completely protect the coating film of the automobile during the period of time reguired, and can completely be removed easily at the end of the period.
