To provide a coating film transfer implement of belt type interlocking mechanism and a cartridge for this type of coating film transfer implement, which pulls out a transfer tape with a light force even when a considerable load is required for pulling the transfer tape.

The coating film transfer implement, having a delivery reel for delivering a transfer tape, a transfer head for pressing and transferring the coating film onto the receiving body surface, a take-up reel for taking up the substrate tape after transfer, is equipped with a belt type interlocking mechanism which makes both reels to rotate together. A movable member which automatically adjusts the tension of a rubber belt by deforming an elastic member is prepared between the two reels and by slidingly contacting the rubber belt which is wound on a delivery pulley and a take-up pulley which is prepared respectively on the same axle of each reel and the transfer tape pulled out of the delivery reel against the movable member each on a different spot, the movement of the movable member in accordance with the tension of the transfer tape lessens the tension applied to the rubber belt and so does lessen the force needed to pull out the transfer tape.
