Abstract:

To provide a coating liquid for die coater, having excellent uniformity of the coating film thickness in plane, suppressing the formation of thick parts caused by the return of the coating liquid at the start and end of coating and preventing the contamination of the coater.

The coating liquid for die coater contains a film-forming resin, a monomer, a polymerization initiator and a solvent. In a Casson plot obtained by plotting σ(S)1/2 to S1/2 [σ(S)(Pa) is shear stress at shearing rate of S(s-1)], σ0 calculated by squaring the value of σ(0)1/2 obtained by extrapolating the S1/2 value to 0 is ≥10-3 Pa.
