PURPOSE: To suppress the stagnation of a coating material in a pipeline at the time of non-coating and to prevent problems such as contraction of in the pipeline by the coating material by connecting a coating material supply pipe and a coating material feedback pipe to the coating material supply port and coating material discharge port of a three-way valve having the coating material discharge port and a coating gun mounting port.
CONSTITUTION: A ball valve 28 energized by a spring 27 maintains contact with a connecting port side valve seat 23 and closes a flow passage to a coating gun 10 connecting port 22 connected to the coating gun 10 when the coating gun 10 is not mounted. At this time, the coating material delivered by a delivery pump flows from the coating material connecting port 30 of the three-way valve 20 through a branch pipe 6 into a valve chamber 29, out of which the coating material flows through the coating material discharge port to the coating material feedback pipe 8 and is returned as it is into a coating material tank 2 without stagnating in the pipeline. The ball valve 28 is depressed by overcoming the force of the spring 27 and is pressed to a discharge side valve seat 26 by an insertion cylinder 26 of the coating gun 10, by which the flow passage of the coating material feedback pipe 8 is closed and the coating material is fed into the coating gun 10.
