To obtain a cationic resin composition excellent in weather resistance, corrosion resistance, adhesiveness and coating stability for a long period.
The coating material composition comprises (A) an amino group-containing epoxy resin, (B) an amino group-containing acrylic resin obtained by carrying out radical polymerization reaction of an epoxy group- containing radically polymerizable monomer with the other radically copolymerizable unsaturated monomer over two stages in the presence of an initiator to provide a polymer and adding an amino group-containing compound which is a cationizing agent to the polymer and having 3-12 ratio of weight average molecular weight (Mw) to number average molecular weight (Mn) and (C) a blocked polyisocyanate curing agent. The coating composition comprises 1-50 wt.% component A, 20-90 wt.% component B and 5-40 wt.% component C, based on total solid content of the component C.
