To obtain a coating material composition, comprising a compound component having a carbamate functional group and an acrylamide compound component reactive with the functional group, having a low visual aberration of a coating film, excellent in environmental corrosion, scuff resistances, etc., and suitable as a clear coat of a composite coating material.
This coating material composition comprises (A) a component composed of a compound having a functional group in the molecule {e.g. an oligomer having 148-2000 molecular weight or a polymer having ≥2000 molecular weight containing a recurring unit of formula I [R is H or CH3; R' is H or a (cyclo)alkyl; L' is a bivalent group; A is an ethylenically unsaturated monomer unit; X and Y are each 10-90wt.% and 90-10wt.%]} and (B) a functionalized compound component of formula II (D is a 2-6C aliphatic group having a single polymerizable double bond at the α,β-positions with respect to the carbonyl at the terminal; E is H, a 1-18C alkyl or a group of formula III) reactive with the carbamate group in the component (A).
