Abstract:

PURPOSE: The titled composition, prepared by incorporating a specific saturated polyester resin with a monofunctional monomer and polyfunctional monomer in specific amounts, having improved adhesion to a polyester, and curability, flexibility, gloss, etc. of coating films.

CONSTITUTION: A coating material composition, curable with active energy rays, and prepared by incorporating (A) 5W50wt% saturated polyester resin, consisting of 10W60mol% aromatic polybasic acid, e.g. terephthalic acid, in the polybasic acid component, and having about 5,000W100,000 number-average molecular weight with (B) 5W90wt% monofunctional vinyl monomer, e.g. glycidyl acrylate, (C) 1W30wt% polyfunctional vinyl monomer, e.g. ethylene glycol diacrylate, and if necessary 0.1W10wt% photopolymerization initiator, e.g. benzoin, and further if necessary a photosensitive accelerator, pigment, dye, organic solvent, etc.
