Abstract:
To provide a coating material composition superior in chemical resistance and scratch resistance and effective as a protective coating film for a plastic base material and the like, to provide a coated article having its hardened film, and to provide a multilayer laminate product.
The coating material composition for forming a protective coating film contains as the main component a disilane compound represented by the formula: XmR13-mSi-Y-SiR13-mXm or a (partial) hydrolysate thereof. In the formula R1 is a 1-6C monovalent hydrocarbon group, Y is a divalent organic group containing one or more fluorine atoms, X is a hydrolyzable group, and m is 1, 2 or 3.
