Abstract:
To provide a coating material that has a low tendency to form flow traces, and meets all the requirements at the same time.
The coating material includes a binding agent and a crosslinking agent, and a thixotropic agent including a mixture including silicic acids and urea and/or urea derivatives. The urea derivatives are prepared by reacting a compound including isocyanate groups, preferably a diisocyanate, and a primary or secondary amine or mixtures of these amines and/or water, preferably an aliphatic primary monoamine. Silicic acid is derived from thermally decomposed modified silicic acid preferably from hydrophobic silicic acid.
