The precoated aluminum alloy plate is prepared by coating a coating material at least on one surface of a substrate composed of an aluminum alloy plate, and baking and curing the coating material. An organic resin constituting the coating material contains a water-soluble acrylic resin having a glass transition temperature of ≥70°C, an acid value of ≥50 mgKOH/g, and a molecular weight of 20,000 to 100,000, and including as a neutralizing agent one or two or more selected from sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, ammonia and amines, and as a dispersant one or more selected from alcohols, esters, ketones and ethers having a boiling point of ≥70°C. The coating material can be removed from the substrate by being brought into contact with an alkaline aqueous solution of a pH of ≥8.
