Title:
COATING MATERIAL FOR GOLF BALL, AND GOLF BALL USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3659554
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating material for a golf ball in which drying time can be shorter even when drying temperature is not much increased, and in which coated film has excellent adhesion when wetted as well as in a dry condi tion, and a golf ball on which the coating material is coated.
SOLUTION: In a coating material for a golf ball comprising a polyol including a urethane polyol as main agent, and a polyisocyanate as a hardening agent, blended in such a way that an equivalent ratio (NCO/OH) of isocyanate group in the hardening agent to hydroxyl group in the main agent is 0.5-2.0, the hydroxyl value of the urethane polyol is 15-130 mgKOH/g, and its weight average molar weight is 4,000 or more and less than 10,000.
