Abstract:

To provide an aqueous coating material which causes no separation phenomenon, can be used as it is and is a spray-coatable paint and primer excellent in adhesion to various resin molded articles, such as polyolefin and synthetic rubber; and a metal, such as steel or aluminum.

This coating material comprises: (A) an aqueous resin composition of a chlorinated olefin-based resin; (B) an aqueous resin composition of an urethane resin; (C) an aqueous resin composition of a petroleum-based hydrocarbon resin; and/or (D) an aqueous resin composition of a rosin-based resin; and/or (E) an aqueous resin composition of a terpene-based resin in amounts of 10 to 98 parts by weight (as weight of the resin) of (A), 1 to 89 parts by weight (as weight of the resin) of (B) and 1 to 89 parts by weight (as weight of the resin) of (C) and/or (D) and/or (E), based on 100 parts by weight of the total of (A), (B), (C) and/or (D) and/or (E).
