To prevent deposition of a coating mist on a receiving fixture and a carrier and to efficiently recover the coating mist in a coating step for an automobile bumper.
In the coating step of the bumper for the automobile, the receiving fixture and (or) the carrier of the bumper to be coated is wrapped/covered with a cover obtained by appropriately cutting/sewing a flexible knitting cloth expandable/contractable in a vertical direction and a lateral direction formed by a knitting material in a knitting system by forming a loop using a crimped thread comprising a multi-filament synthetic fiber. The bumper to be coated is installed on the cover and coating is performed. The coating mist in a peripheral space of the bumper to be coated is positively adsorbed to the cover and the cover adsorbed with the coating mist is removed from the receiving fixture and (or) the carrier after a predetermined number of continuous usage to recover the coating mist. It is recycled as a solid fuel or is disposed.
