A screen coating device 45 for forming a coat layer 35 on an outer peripheral surface of both head parts of a piston 22 has a work holder 46 for rotatably holding a piston 22 in a prescribed position, a screen 47 for forming a transfer pattern composed of meshes, a driving mechanism for rectilinearly moving the screen 47 and rotating the work holder 46 around the axis as the center and a squeegee 48 capable of abutting to an upper surface of the screen 47. Viscosity of this coating material C is set to 30,000 cp. This viscosity is decided by the blending ratio of a solvent. When this viscosity falls within 5,000 to 150,000 cp, an action effect can be obtained by restraining only a material, so that a different is hardly made in a thickness of an upper part of a cylindrical part and the coat layer of a lower part.
