PURPOSE: To coat an article with a liquid resin uniformly and efficiently, by applying the resin at the center of the article in the shape of a heap, and by blowing a gas on the heap to spread it on the whole surface.

CONSTITUTION: The article 34 is placed on the table 11, and the nozzle 38 is located above the article 34 by lowering the lifting support 36. The mini-valve 51 is opened to apply the resin 44 to the center of the article in the shape of a heap, and the support 36 is lifted to depress the micro-switch 53 with the detecting lever 52. A motor is operated by the signal given from the micro-switch 53 to turn the upper end of the lever 21 clockwise and to depress the micro-switch 30 for detecting the lever lowering. The cam 25 is stopped to bring the article 34 into contact with the second treating stopper 17, thus transferring the article 34 under the gas jet nozzle 33. Dry air is jetting from the nozzle 33 on the resin heap 44 for 0.1W5 sec to spread it on the whole surface of the article 34.
