Abstract:
To provide a coating film forming method capable of suppressing the progress of degradation such as color change and crack caused by an existing coating film while using an uneven pattern and a multicolor pattern of an existing coating film, and retaining aesthetic properties for a long period.SOLUTION: A coating film forming method for forming a new construction coating film by applying a first coating material and a second coating material to an existing coating film surface provided on a base material is such that: the existing coating film surface has an uneven pattern and/or a multicolor pattern; the first coating material and the second coating material contain resin components containing in the resin constituents, 20 wt.% or more of (meth)alkyl acrylate ester having a 3C or more alkyl group; and a coating film having a visible light permeability, and a 30% or less ultraviolet ray transmittance is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
