To provide a coating pretreatment apparatus wherein the space is saved by the reduction of a treatment process, the productivity is improved and the equipment cost, the chemical cost, the management man-hour and the load of the waste water treatment are reduced.
The coating pretreatment apparatus has a treatment vessel 1 in which a degreasing and chemical conversion liquid are filled, a 1st circulation line 11 for circulating a treating liquid in the treating vessel 1 and returning to the treatment vessel 1, a dust removing apparatus 2 provided in the circulation line for removing dust contained in the treating liquid, a chemical conversion sludge removing apparatus 3 provided in the circulation line and for removing chemical conversion sludge contained in the treating liquid, an oil portion removing apparatus 4 provided in the circulation line and for removing oil portion contained in the treating liquid, a treating liquid replenishing vessel provided in the circulation line and for replenishing the fresh degreasing and chemical conversion liquid, a water and polar organic solvent separation apparatus 5 provided in the circulation line and for separating water portion from a polar organic solvent in the treating liquid and returning the polar organic solvent to the circulation line, an ion removing apparatus 7 provided in the circulation line and for removing ion components from the water portion separated by the water and polar organic solvent separation apparatus and returning the residual water to the treating liquid replenishing vessel 6 and shutters 31-34 for blocking the heat radiation of the heat of the treatment vessel 1.
