Title:
COATING REMOVER FOR COATED FIBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0293407
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase the number of service times of blades by forming the blades in such a manner that the blades can move in a prescribed direction at an acute angle with their axial line and that the blades have cutting edges to be bit into coating parts in a prescribed direction as the blades move. CONSTITUTION:A piece to several pieces of fibers 1 are paralleled and are crimped by an upper body 35 and a lower body 36. The rear ends of the upper and lower blades 9, 10 are pressed like arrows 39a, 39b by a blade driving device (not shown) to bite the front end parts, i.e. the cutting edges into the coating parts 7. Further, the fibers 1 are pulled in an arrow 40 direction by the distance corresponding to an exposing size by relative moving devices (not shown) to partially remove the coating parts 7 and to expose fibers 5. The coating parts 7 are discharged from discharge holes 35, 36 and further, the lower body 32 and the upper body 31 are separated again so as to return the bodies to the initial positions. The fibers 1 are taken out of the spacing therebetween.
