PURPOSE: To obtain a coating resin capable of coating without developing the color migration from products even under a severe conditions, suitable for coating fabrics dyed with disperse dye by incorporating an oil-soluble coating resin such as an acrylic resin with a thermosetting resin.

CONSTITUTION: The objective resin can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100 pts.wt. of an oil-soluble resin selected from acrylic resins, urethane resins and silicone resins with (B) 5-100 pts.wt. of a thermosetting resin, from which melamine and its derivatives as the monomers are excluded. The component B is e.g. phenol resin, urea resin, unsaturated polyester resin, being pref. selected depending on the type of the component A. For example, when the component A is an acrylic resin, the component B is e.g. urea resin.
