PURPOSE: The title roll, designed to coat the inner surface of an article with a liquid uniformly, wherein bottomed coating cylinders are equipped to cover from both sides of a drive shaft having sliding grooves in the shaft direction on the both sides of peripheries via springs placed between them.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of the sliding grooves 2 in the shaft direction are formed on the peripheries of the drive shaft 1 supported by the rotating shafts 7 on the both sides rotatably, and the liquid coating parts 6 provided with rubber layers on the circumferences and bottoms are formed from the both sides of the shaft 1. The coating cylinders 3 each having the through-hole 8 for inserting the shaft 7 at the bottom and a pair of sliding protrusions 4 on the inner surface are engaged to insert the protrusions 4 into the grooves 2, connected to the sides of the shaft 1 with the springs 5 at the inner surface, and moved in the shaft direction by the elastic force of the springs 5 and sliding of the protrusions 4 according to an article to be coated.
