This synthetic fiber rope having two or more layers 9, 10, 11 of twisted load-supporting aramid fiber strands is obtained by coating an impregnation material and additives such as a UV stabilizer, staples and an oxidation reduction inhibitor on synthetic fiber strands 4, 5 at the outermost layer 6 of the strands instead of a conventional extruded synthetic protection sheath as a mere additional coating. As a result, the protection against the environmental influence harmful to the rope is secured with the reliability, and unchanged enough resistance of the synthetic fiber rope 1 to the abrasion is also secured.
