Abstract:
To provide a coating solvent increased in safety compared with conventionals.
The coating solvent comprises GTL (Gas To Liquid) synthesized from natural gas without adding any of aromatic hydrocarbon, esters and ketones. The solvent power of the obtained coating solvent is 29.0 KB (Kauri Butanol) value in accordance with the Survey for Rationalization of Demand of Petroleum Products for Fiscal 1986 of the Japan Paint Inspection and Testing Association. The obtained paint solvent contains none of aromatic hydrocarbon, esters and ketones, so safety is increased compared with the conventionals. And as it has almost no smell so it is easy in treatment.
