Abstract:
To facilitate stripping work for stripping coating from a covered electric wire.SOLUTION: A ratchet mechanism is adapted to be configured by a ratchet tooth 914 formed on an outer surface of a grip unit 910 consisting of a pair of gripping bodies 911 that is connected by a shaft provided with a thread on an outer peripheral surface and pinches a covered electric wire, and a latch member 924 that is provided on an inner peripheral surface of a holding unit 920 consisting of a pair of holding units 921 in which a semi-cylindrical recess 922 having a radius larger than that of a circle formed by connecting tips of the ratchet tooth 914 is formed at one surface side. Using a single common operation rod provided with a connecting tool coupled with a linking metal fitting 130 at its tip, a cover stripping device 900 is configured to make it possible to attach the cover stripping device 900 to the covered wire, to remove the cover, and to take out the device from the covered wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
