Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method with mass-productivity for a multi-component target for low-friction coating of a combustion engine component, and to provide a nano composite coating layer which has ultimately superior properties.SOLUTION: A ZrCuSiN nano composite coating layer is provided as a low-friction coating layer for a combustion engine component, a ZrCuSiN target is manufactured by a sintering method for manufacture of the nano composite coating layer, and the target is utilized to form the ZrCuSiN nano composite coating layer on a flue dust combustion component in a reactive sputtering process of supplying nitrogen and inactive gas. A composition of the target takes into consideration the formation of a tribo-film layer which can be formed on a friction surface of the engine combustion component by friction of P, S, Mo, and Zn as components of engine oil inside a high-temperature atmosphere in an engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
