In a coating tool in which two or more head members 12 are joined by a bolt 18 to form a head body 11, a coating liquid is applied to a coated material from a manifold 13 formed in the head body 11 through a slit 15; the head members 12 and the bolt 18 are formed with a metal material, in at least one head member 12 of the two or more head members 12, a mounting hole 16 of an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the bolt 18 is formed to a part in which the bolt 18 is inserted, and this at least one head member 12 is joined through a case 17 formed with a resin material disposed between an inner periphery of the mounting hole 16 and an outer periphery of the bolt 18.
