To provide a coating capable of forming a coating film that prevents distortion from occurring in a reflection on the coating film, and a vehicle exterior member.SOLUTION: A coating has: a fluorine-containing polymer that contains a fluoroolefin-based unit and a unit having a cross-linkable group; cellulose ester; and a curing agent.
