Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated white paperboard which has a high degree of whiteness, no unevenness in white color and a good binder distribution and is produced by curtain coating.SOLUTION: A method of producing a coated white paperboard includes a step of forming one curtain film from one or more coating liquids and superimposing a raw paper sheet on the curtain film to form at least one curtain coating layer on the raw paper sheet and a step of drying the curtain coating layer by a combination of an infrared drying system and a heat convection drying system.
