Abstract:

To improve the three-dimensional strength, dimensional stability and cushioning property by using a flat multiple fabric consisting of warps or wefts vertically arranged in a plurality of layers and wefts or warps braided with these warps or wefts as a base cloth, and providing a coatingly impregnated layer thereon.

A multiple fabric having at least one flat surface which consists of warps or wefts arranged vertically in at least two layers and wefts or warps braided with the above warps or wefts is used as a base cloth 1, and a coatingly impregnated layer 2 of natural rubber, butyl rubber, polyvinyl chloride or the like is provided thereon. This basic cloth is formed by braiding a monofilament or multifilament of natural fiber or synthetic fiber in double or triple, including polyester, polyamide, polyphenylene sulfide, polyethyl ether ketone and the like. As the used fiber, has a thickness of 100-1000 deniers, and a single fiber or single fiber-like matter having a thickness of 100-1000 deniers, or a diameter of 0.10-1.00 mm is used.
