To provide a method of mounting a connector for terminating a coaxial cable by frictional force, and a firm locking method of a cable to improve the mechanical and electrical performance of the connector.
The coaxial cable connector includes a ring post forming an axial bore in the connector, a cylindrical connector body bonded to the post, a nut rotatably connected to the post, and a sleeve movably bonded to the connector body. The sleeve outwardly extending at least in a radial direction contains a raised portion formed on the outer face of the sleeve. The raised portion frictionally engages the inner face of the connector. The inner face of the connector body does not require a recess formed in the connector body or other engaging structure.
