To provide a coaxial cable in which a shield tape for noise countermeasure is interposed between an insulator covered around a center conductor and a braid around the insulator, and the center conductor and the insulator are also effectively prevented from falling off due to interposition of the shield tape.

The coaxial cable 10 is formed by covering the outer periphery of the center conductor 12 with the insulator 14, and the outer periphery of the insulator 14 is wound around by the shield tape 16. Then, the outer periphery of the shield tape 16 is covered with a braid 18, and the outer periphery of the braid 18 is covered with a sheath material 20. In the shield tape 16, an uneven pattern is given to the surface on the insulator 14 side and the surface on the braid 18 side.
