Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coaxial capacitor which is easily manufactured and enhanced in resistance to mechanical vibrations by a method wherein the capacitor is equipped with a hard core which serves as the core tube of a capacitor element and is possessed of internal threads at its ends and terminals screwed into the internal threads.
SOLUTION: A pair of metallized films having margins at different edges are wound on a hard core 2 provided with internal threads 1 at its ends interposing an insulating film between them, a metallicon 3 is formed on each widthwise edge of the metallized films, and thus a capacitor element 4 is obtained. Lead wires 5 are each connected to the metalicons 3, a lead plate 6 connected to the lead wire 5 is fastened by a nut 8 to a terminal 7 screwed into the internal thread 1. By this setup, a coaxial capacitor is easily manufactured and enhanced in resistance to mechanical vibrations by preventing the vibrations of the terminals 7 from being transmitted direct to a joint between the capacitor element 4 and the lead wire 5.
