To provide a coaxial speed increasing/decreasing machine for a rotary striking type boring machine capable of being externally attached to an existing rotary striking type boring machine without any special remodeling, for efficiently transmitting a striking force to a drill rod using a speed increasing/decreasing mechanism while increasing or decreasing the number of revolutions of the boring machine.
The coaxial speed increasing/decreasing machine comprises an input shaft connected at its one end to a spindle of a drill head having a rotating mechanism and a striking mechanism, for transmitting the striking force and torque from the drill head to its drill head side; the speed increasing/ decreasing mechanism non-rotatably connected to the other end of the input shaft for increasing or decreasing the number of revolutions of the input shaft and outputting it; and an output shaft disposed coaxially with the input shaft for transmitting the striking force and torque to the drill rod, with one end of the output shaft kept from rotation by the speed increasing/decreasing mechanism and the other end connected to the drill rod or the like.
