Abstract:
To provide a cock valve which can secure sufficient fastening pressure between an outer face of a cock and an introduction pipe and a discharge pipe of a valve hole of a housing at valve-closing, and can perform stationary cleaning.SOLUTION: A cock valve 1 comprises a valve hole 15 which allows the insertion of a cock 5 therein, and also comprises the cock 5 which can be inserted into the valve hole in which a penetration hole 5a for making an introduction pipe part 11 and a discharge pipe part 13 communicate with each other in the valve hole is formed. The cock valve is constituted so as to perform the valve-opening or valve-closing of the introduction pipe part and the discharge pipe part by the rotation of the cock. An outside diameter of the cock is set smaller than an inside diameter of the valve hole, a clearance having a prescribed dimension is formed between an outer face of the cock and an inner face of the valve hole, and salient parts 11a, 13a for blocking the introduction pipe part and the discharge pipe part by prescribed fastening pressure at the valve-closing are formed at the inner face of the valve hole of the valve housing 3 and/or at the outer face of the cock.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
