Abstract:

To provide an effective cockroach attractant.

The cockroach attractant contains an aggregation pheromone of cockroaches (one or two or more compounds selected from a group of 1- dimethylamino-2-methyl-2-propanol, dimethylamine, trimethylamine, diethylamine, triethylamine, and their salts) and a dietary attractant (one or two or more compounds selected from a group of 3-hydroxy-2-methyl-4-pyrone, 3-hydroxy-2- ethyl-4-pyrone, 2-hydroxy-3-methyl-2-cyclopenten-1-one and their derivatives).
