The code matching lock device 1 performs locking when dial sections 2 are operated to set an arbitrary code number and then an operating section 3 is operated. The code matching lock device is combined with a lock device which is operable upon insertion of a card key CK or a key K to cancel engagement of an engaging pin 14 of the cylinder lock 13 and upon rotation of a latch 15, and the operating section 3 and the latch 15 are interlocked with each other via a link member 4.
