Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code reading system capable of reading collectively an identification code of a storing rack and identification codes of a plurality of works, and managing each work correlatively with a storage place on the storing rack.
SOLUTION: This system has a plurality of vessels, the storing rack for storing vertically the vessels, and a code reader for reading the identification code. The storing rack has a rack identification code on the side face. Each vessel has a vessel identification code on the bottom face. The code reader has a scanner reading face for placing the storing rack thereon, and a projection means for projecting the rack identification code onto the scanner reading face. The code reader reads the rack identification code and the vessel identification code collectively as image data through the scanner reading face.
