Abstract:
A coded pattern and a method for extracting the codes from the same are disclosed, in which images are obtained by a camera to recognize them, and codes are extracted from the obtained images. A plurality of symbols as constituents of the coded pattern respectively have circular structures and various code values, and the symbols lie within a 2-dimensional lattice structure. The code values are decided by the sizes of the symbols. The lattice structure consists of a combination of lattices, and each of the lattices ranges from a triangular form of a polygonal form. Each of the symbols has a center at each of the corners of the lattice structure. The centers of the symbols are equidistantly arranged with the centers of the adjacent symbols.
