Title:
COOLING OF STATIONARY INDUCTION MACHINE COIL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3119995
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To radiate the heat in a coil efficiently and reduce the size and weight of the whole machine without deteriorating the productivity of the coil.
CONSTITUTION: The cooling of a stationary induction machine has non-looped thin tube heat pipes 29 which are composed of thin tube containers 22 provided as hollow tube electrical insulated conductors and operational liquid enclosed in them and main winding units 23 which are composed of the non-looped heat pipes 29 and arranged laterally. Heat radiating units 28 are provided on the top parts of the main winding units 23. Cooling pipes 26 which have heat collecting parts 27 stuck tightly to the heat radiating units 28 and in which coolant is enclosed are provided and an external heat exchanger which is connected to the cooling pipes 26 and radiates the heat brought by the coolant out of the main winding units 23 is provided. Further, a circulation pump which is connected to the cooling pipes 26 and circulates the coolant is provided.
