PURPOSE: To reduce noise by reducing the load applied to a cutter in the initial stage of pulverizing coffee bean's and permitting the use of a motor having a small starting torque.

CONSTITUTION: A coffee extracting device is equipped with a flow rate controller for coffee beans which is equipped with an opened port part which is opened simultaneously with the start of the revolution of a motor 5 of a pulverizer or after the lapse of a prescribed time is installed at the opened port part between a coffee bean accommodating chamber 12 and a pulverizing chamber 11. Accordingly, the coffee beans flow into the pulverizing chamber 11 after the start of the revolution of a cutter 9, and the motor 5 can be started in a nonloaded state, and the starting torque can be reduced, and the noise can be reduced.
