Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffee liquid extractor which keeps high the quality of coffee beverage made and which is remarkably simple in structure.
SOLUTION: A coffee liquid extractor has a water heater or boiler 2, an extraction cylinder 6, a driving motor 8 moving the extraction cylinder 6 along its longitudinal axis, a closure piston 3 closing the open end of the extraction cylinder 6 to form an extraction chamber, and an extraction piston 5 arranged within the extraction cylinder 6 in such a way as to freely move along the longitudinal axis to compress coffee powder stored in an extraction cylinder means and to remove a cake of the coffee powder extracted. In this case, the closure piston 3 is either an integral part of the water heater or boiler 2 or directly coupled to the water heater or boiler.
