Title:
COFFEE MAKER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004073518
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a coffee maker which efficiently discharges smoke and heated air which are generated during roasting and cooling to the outside of an apparatus and which is durable by preventing a crushing portion from being stopped abnormally due to raw coffee beans.

After completing roasting, a discharging shutter is closed during cooling of the coffee beans. Thus, most of the smoke generated from the coffee beans during cooling flows into a roaster from a cooling portion and passes through a deodorization catalyst, thereby the smoke is decomposed by oxidization and discharged to the outside of the apparatus, so that reduced smoke enters the inside of the apparatus. Moreover, the discharging shutter is closed after the lapse of a fixed period after stopping an agitator in the roaster. Thus, the coffee beans are no longer caught between the discharging shutter and the roaster.
