To provide a coffee maker capable of preventing the trouble of continuous outflow of water or hot water from an outlet when the power distribution to a heater is turned off while the coffee maker is used.
The coffee maker includes: a water tank located at an upper part; heating means located under the water tank; an outward liquid passage which communicates with the water tank and the heating means; and a return liquid passage which communicates with the heating means and the outlet. The return liquid passage includes a first liquid passage from the heating means to an upper area located above the full level of the water tank, and a second liquid passage from the upper area to the outlet located below the upper area. The size of the second liquid passage from the upper area to the outlet is larger than the size of the first liquid passage from the heating means to the upper area.
