PURPOSE: To realize a coffee maker for providing delicious coffee by automatically detecting water and bean amounts to reason an optimum requirement for extracting coffee with a reasoning means and extract coffee with heater control based on the reasoning result.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided a water amount detecting means 4 for detecting a water amount, a bean amount detecting means 8 for detecting a bean amount, a reasoning means 9 for receiving the detecting outputs of the water amount detecting means 4 and bean amount detecting means 8 to reason various requirements for extraction and a heater controlling means 10 controlled by the reasoning results. Thus, a coffee maker can be provided which always extracts delicious coffee irrespective of variation in the set bean and water amounts.
