PURPOSE: To obtain a good extraction of coffee by a method wherein an air hole is provided at an upper part of a coffee pack for allowing air to go into and out of the pack, and at a time of coffee extraction, the air hole is opened and closed by a beltlike hanging part so that hot water can flow into and out of the pack smoothly.

CONSTITUTION: In a coffee pack formed of a bag-shaped filter 1 and filled with coffee powder, an air hole 2 running through the pack is provided at an upper part 5 of the bag-shaped filter 1 as an opening through which air can go into and out of the pack freely. A beltlike hanging part 3 is also provided, which has proper width and length and extends downward from an upper end 9 of the filter 1. The beltlike hanging part 3 is arranged at such a position that, when the coffee pack is not used, it closes the air hole 2, and further adhered temporarily around the air hole 2. When the coffee pack is used, only if the hanging part 3 is hung down by hand, the air hole 2 is opened, whereby hot water can flow into and out of the pack smoothly.
