Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cofferdam method capable of shortening a construction period and reducing a construction cost in a state hardly bringing 4 water pollution.
SOLUTION: A supporting device 24 is set in the neighborhood of a connecting section between the upper end of a pier 12 and a bridge girder 13. A precast panel 20 is connected in the circumferential direction to form a circular built-up body 18a for one portion of layer, and when the formation of one portion of the layer is completed, two or more layers are built up by the same procedure, and a plurality of circular built-up bodies 18a are successively connected to each other in the vertical direction to construct a cofferdam structural body 18. A plurality of jet nozzles 32 jetting the high-pressure water are arranged to the lower end of the cofferdam structural body 18 at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction. When the cofferdam structural body 18 supported by the supporting device 24 is constructed, it is bottomed on a footing 14, and a bridge 10 is repaired. The cofferdam structural body 18 is bottomed by jetting the high-pressure water to the bottom ground 16 through the jet nozzles 32, and a circular groove 34 capable of inserting the cofferdam structural body 18 therein is formed.
