Abstract:

To provide a coffin having a cooling mechanism that does not use dry ice and permits use of a conventional coffin.

The coffin has a coffin body 11 that is opened in the top, a cooling lid 13 placed on the coffin body 11 and provided with a cooling pipe 12 inside, and a freezer 31. The device has a cooling medium device 14 supplying a cooling medium cooled with the freezer 31 to the cooling pipe 12, and a cremation lid 15 placed on the coffin body 11 and replacing the cooling lid 13 for cremation.
