A coffin 100 includes a coffin body 101 and a lid body 105 which are made of a resin foam P. The coffin body 101 is a container to receive a corpse D of a pet animal, and includes a bottom plate 102 and a side wall 103 to form a box shape opened upward as in the illustration. The bottom plate 102 is a tabular part to configure a placing surface to place the corpse D thereon, the bottom plate 102 being made of the resin foam P entirely and provided with a deodorant C at a top layer including the placing surface to place the corpse D thereon. The side wall 103 is a wall member to partition surrounding space over a surface of the bottom plate 102, standing up circumferentially on the bottom plate 102. The coffin body 101 is provided with the lid body 105 that is made of the resin foam P and detachably fits with an opening part 104. The lid body 105 is provided with a small window 106 formed thereon to allow for visibility in the coffin body 101.
