To prevent the shape of a steel strip from becoming a telescopic shape at the time of extracting the steel strip and to obtain a coil car capable of easily extracting the steel strip having the thin coiled thickness and being easily flattened from a tension reel by arranging a permanent magnet or electric magnet attracting the steel strip in the skid part of the coil car.
When the diameter of the reel is reduced, the steel strip 5 is flattened, the upper part 7 of the inner periphery of the steel strip is brought into contact with the upper part 8 of the outer periphery of the reel, a frictional force is generated between them at the time of extracting the steel strip 5. However, since the steel strip 5 is attracted to the skid part 2 and respective coiled steel strips having the gap are together attracted due to the magnetic force of the permanent magnet or electric magnet, the frictional force between the coil car 1 and the steel strip 5 and the frictional force between the coiled steel strip group become larger than the frictional force between the upper part 7 of the inner periphery of the steel strip and the upper part 8 of the outer periphery of the reel, whereby the shape of the steel strip 5 is prevented to become the telescopic shape following the transfer of the coil car 1 and the steel strip 5 having the thin coiled thickness is easily extracted from the tension reel 6.
